Saturday Morning Flower School - Flowers for the Home, Saturday 15th September

120.00

Join us for our first class in the Saturday Morning Flower School series. Flowers for the Home will focus on the art of using florals to decorate your home throughout the seasons.

Flowers pay a huge part in creating a warm welcome in the home and are often seen as the finishing touch before any gathering, special occasion and even when you are selling a property. Creating floral arrangements around the home is also an enjoyable experience and their presence make a home feel lived in and loved.

The class will begin with the basics of decorating the home with flowers. We will go through the ‘how-to’ of choosing the right flowers, how to complement them with the appropriate vessel and how to treat blooms and foliage to ensure optimum vase life. Thomas will then demonstrate how to create a beautiful vase arrangement, using the finest British grown flowers and foliage, embracing our signature ‘garden style’ using foam free mechanics. Thomas will also present a range of different vessels decorated with flowers, to inspire you to create in your own home.

You will then have an opportunity to create a beautiful arrangement in an elegant vessel to take home with you.

No experience is required to join this class, it is for anyone who loves flowers. It is an ideal class for those who love to arrange flowers, but want to learn how to create with more ease. For those who love to grow flowers and would like to know how to arrange them, or those who just want a couple hours of creativity to take them away from the humdrum of everyday life……

The class will take place on Saturday the 15th of September at our garden studio in Shepperton, Surrey at 10:00am until 1:30 pm. The price includes refreshments upon arrival and a vessel full of flowers to take home with you. Scissors and aprons will be provided.
